The Association encourages volunteering as it promotes collegiality and also yields important work through the collective effort of members nationwide. The opportunities that members have to volunteer their services for the work of the Association and the industry in general in Cyprus are the following:
- Joining one of the Association’s Working Committees or Special Interest Groups. (For more information click here)
- Participating in our Association’s events in the context of the European Speech Therapy Day which takes place every year on March 6. (e.g. writing articles, presenting to the media, staffing stands, distributing publications, informing the public, etc.)
- Participation in career fairs, where the association is invited to staff its own booth, distribution of a brochure about the speech therapy industry and information to prospective students about the industry in Cyprus.
- Presentation of the profession in schools within the framework of career guidance.
