Activities for the European Day of Speech and Language Therapy 2024 Theme: “Collaboration Between Speech and Language Therapists and Other Professionals and Caregivers”
- Participation of SYEL members in television programs to inform the public
- Event on 6/3/24 at the European Parliament in Brussels, with speaker Dr. Fofi Konstantinidou, Vice President of ESLA and member of SYEL. SYEL was represented by the Chair of the ESLA Committee, Mrs. Giannoula Ampiza-Stylianidou.
- 2/3/24 – Presentation of case studies at the Journalists’ House in Nicosia, aiming to highlight positive outcomes of best practices regarding the role of the speech and language therapist within the interdisciplinary team, with the presence of professionals involved in each case.
- 6/3/24 – Online presentation for SYEL members and speech therapy students, Topic: “The Role of the Speech and Language Therapist and Other Specialists in the Interdisciplinary Team”
